NARSA Plans Two Conferences and International Tour for 2018

The NARSA Heat Exchange Meeting Machine is revving up with plans for two conferences and an international tour this year.

Spring forward to the Management Conference

First up will be the NARSA Management Conference in Gadsden, Alabama, April 19 – 21, 2018.  Loyal NARSA benefactor C,G & J Heat Transfer will host the event and will open the manufacturing facility as well as Brice Thomas Radiator for tours and demonstrations. Other programming will take place at the Mary G. Hardin Gadsden Cultural Arts Center in the heart of downtown historic Gadsden.

C,G & J manufactures a variety or products including charge air coolers, radiators and other specialty heat exchangers. Brice Thomas Radiator is a full-service cooling system and A/C service center that provides services and products for RVs, antiques, passenger cars, farm equipment as well as for racing and high performance.

The NARSA Board of Directors will be meeting at the Mary G. Hardin Cultural Center on Thursday, April 19.  The conference will begin on the afternoon of Friday, April 20.  Programming at the Center will include a luncheon, management sessions followed by a table top reception.

Attendees may want to come in early to visit the very special Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum in Birmingham. Birmingham is also the closest airport and is 58 miles or 60 minutes from Gadsden.

The Barber Motorsports Museum, with its creative architecture and great attention to detail, is home to over 1,400 motorcycles that span over 100 years of production. More than 650 bikes can be seen on any given day, and 200 different manufacturers from 20 countries are represented in the collection—from Harley-Davidson, Honda, and Indian—to Showa, DSK, and Cagiva. The museum also features the world’s most extensive Lotus collection, anchored by the Lotus 21. The museum also displays rare race cars, including the 1964 Ferrari F-158, in which John Surtees won the 1964 Formula 1 Driver's World Championship. The schedule is listed below:
