– Information needed to identify and select a replacement fan

– How to change blade pitch for Multi-Wing Z and W series fans
About Bob Bogdany:
Bob Bogdany has 17 years’ experience with Multi-Wing America dealing with industrial radiator and engine cooling fans. He currently manages a minimum of 30 of the company’s top 200 accounts including Halliburton, AKG, Global Heat Transfer, and Stewart & Stevenson. Bob graduated from the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology.

Attendees will tour Don Hart’s facility with special attention to the crane shop, the flash booth, sheet metal shop, new blast room, Gas Tank and DPF shop, radiator shop, and the office spaces.

James Basham will offer the ins and outs of Tig welding. From Tig machine controls and set up, tungsten selection, cup selection, torch selection and the correct gas for the welding application. Whether it is steel or aluminum James will show you how to set up your welding equipment.

On Friday, we’ll be at Houston’s CityPlace Marriott hotel in Springwoods Village. We’ll share breakfast together and then settle in for a morning full of programming from leaders in our industry. NARSA/IDEA members will have the opportunity to learn and engage with information that will help their businesses diversify and grow.
About Joe Long:
Joe Long has been in the trucking industry since 1973 and is considered one of the top experts in coolants. He worked for Peray for over a decade and has also worked with Detroit, CAT and Cummins, International, Volvo, and Mack and all the OEMs for resolutions to many cooling system problems. Five years ago, Joe made the transition to Old World to help build their heavy-duty business development. Through the years, Joe has helped train more 40,000 technicians across America on the testing, treating and filtering on all coolants. As a member of the Technical Maintenance Council of the American Trucking Association, Joe was honored as a Recognized Associate in 2011, and was awarded the Silver Spark Plug, one of the highest awards offered to their members.

About Robert Burgess:
Robert has spent more than 25 years in the transportation industry. He has a BSME from Kettering University (formerly GMI Engineering and Management INstitute) and a MBA from Oakland University. He has been working in the thermal area of the transportation industry since 2001. Robert has designed and developed full thermal systems including cabin heating ventilation and cooling, powertrain cooling, and power electronic cooling. - (11:15a) “Macro-Economics & Future Supply Chain Challenges” by Dr. Mary Kelly, Productive Leaders
This session is going to give participants an economic overview of both internal and external shocks that may be affecting their businesses. We will cover topics such as job shortages, housing, inflation, the Russian invasion of Ukraine, global and US GDP, and interest rates. Will there be a recession? What is happening with taxes? What are employees worried about?
Then we spend the second part of the session focusing on the six stages of any crisis, challenge, or change, and the specific leadership ideas to lead teams to better outcomes.
About Mary Kelly: Dr. Mary Kelly is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and spent over 20 years on active duty in intelligence and logistics. She retired from the Navy as a commander. She has masters’ degrees in history and economics, and a PhD in economics. With over 20 years combined teaching experience at both the Naval Academy and at Hawaii Pacific University, she taught economics, finance, history and management.

About our host Don Hart’s Radiator:
In 1985 Maurice Hart, Sr. and Don Hart opened Don Hart’s Radiator Service Center located in Waller, Texas. Over the years, Don Hart’s has evolved with the changing of time and have extended our service operations to include so much more than just radiators. Don Hart’s Radiator focuses on radiators, fuel tanks, heat exchangers, oil coolers, Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF), Diesel Oxygen Catalyst (DOC), antique/custom radiators and gas tanks. In addition to the Waller headquarters, Don Hart’s Radiator has locations in East Houston and Bryan. There are currently 34 employees on the team. Many who are from the Waller area and a few who have been with Don Hart’s for 30+ years.

Space Center Houston, the official visitor center of NASA’s Johnson Space Center, is a must-see attraction in Houston. This is a huge complex, where you can walk through the space shuttle replica Independence and the enormous shuttle carrier aircraft it’s mounted on. In the visitor center, you can wander inside a replica of America’s first space station, Skylab, and touch a rock from the moon. This is also the place to learn about NASA’s upcoming missions, including travel to Mars.

SplashTown is Houston’s largest and most diverse water park, featuring 40-acres and more than two million gallons of summer fun. You’ll want to check out the Stingray Racer, the park’s newest thrill ride featuring six water slide lanes stretching 55 feet up. And the Tornado, an experience that begins on a platform 75 feet in the air where daring riders are set in motion down a 132-foot long tunnel and thrown into the giant open-ended funnel.

Augusta Pines is an 18-hole golf club located in Spring, Texas designed by Tour 18, Inc. The facility features a state-of-the-art practice facility (including six target greens and sand bunkers). The course negotiates mature pines, dogwoods and oaks. The fairways are Baby Bermuda grass, while the greens and tees feature TifEagle. The dramatic finishing holes are back-to-back island greens, the par-3 seventeenth and par-5 eighteenth. A total of 30 acres of lakes come into play on the eleven of the eighteen holes.
The Beer Can House

Ripley’s Believe It or Not estimated that over 50,000 cans adorn this monument to recycling. John Milkovisch, a retired upholsterer for the Southern Pacific Railroad, started his project now known as the Beer Can House in 1968 when he began inlaying thousands of marbles, rocks, and metal pieces into concrete and redwood to form unique landscaping features.
